Jordan Travel Planning
Jordan had been high on my bucket list for years, in particular the ruins of Petra. But there’s so much more to see in Jordan.
You won’t be wrong for thinking Jordan was plucked straight from Indiana Jones or Lawrence of Arabia – it is! Both films used Jordan as the backdrop for their productions.
Jordan is one of the more liberal countries in the Middle East. I was also pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get around as a solo traveller – the country is really well-connected.
Of course, Petra was top of my bucket list, but there were so many other great experiences here including bobbing about in the mineral-rich Dead Sea, camping overnight in the Wadi Rum desert and of course, scuba diving in the Red Sea.
